How to use a Nebulizer: M&C KRITIKOS MEDICAL SUPPLIES LTD

A nebulizer is a medical device that is used to administer medication in the form of a mist that is inhaled into the lungs. This type of treatment is particularly useful for conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and cystic fibrosis.

Step 1: Fill the medication chamber of the nebulizer with the prescribed medication according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 2: Connect the air tubing to the nebulizer and the other end to the air compressor.

Step 3: Turn on the air compressor and adjust the flow rate according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 4: Place the mouthpiece or mask in your mouth and breathe normally.

Step 5: Treatments typically last 5-15 minutes.

Step 6: After treatment, turn off the air compressor and disconnect the tubing.

Step 7: Clean the nebulizer according to the manufacturer's instructions.

It's always best to consult the instruction manual that came with your nebulizer and/or consult with your healthcare provider before use.
